Shria is another disciple of Ser Ompagne.** After earning her right to walk the path, she broke off from the other three and spent most of her time in Dravania- unable to stomach the traditions of The Holy See. Eventually visions would call her back East to the three major city states where she would begin her search for a Hyur who had also received the blessing of light.
*One per class.
**Unless expressly requested, this will not come up in threads.
Appearance,
• Eyes the color of lilac, hair the tone of onyx.
• A pallid skin tone from a lifetime spent in armor and beneath clouded skies.
• 5'2" (62.4 inches) of height, a (curiously?) thin frame to match.
• Fewer scars than one might expect. • A face seemingly not given to smiles, or much expression at all.
• Eternal helmet hair. Looks as though it might have been cut mirrorless and with an impatient hand.
• Across her back-left shoulder in golden-yellow ink is a word written in extremely cursive lettering, so much so as to be unreadable.
• Black armor, scuffed and scraped and worn in many places, yet painstakingly cared for.
• A great-sword in equally weathered but useable shape.
Behaviour,
• Softspoken but not shy. Reserved but not silent.
• Quietly observant but at times tactlessly blunt.
• Will often spend hours at a time contemplating things for no apparent reason.
• A night owl. Often forgets to eat.
• Hygienic but always seen wearing the same things.
• May quarrel an order if it does not seem to have sound reasoning. Will otherwise obey without question.
• Practical to the point of miserly.
Curiosities,
• She is strong. Unreasonably so for one of her build.
• The aether about her is curiously sparse in all things but combat. In combat, it fluctuates in bursts and seems muddled.
• Occasionally loses focus in the midst of things, rarely in combat, most often at night when all is silent. Sometimes mid-conversation.
• Her Xaelic carries a slight accent, reminiscent of her time spent on Aldenard.
Things To Consider,
• She is echo-blessed. In her case, it comes in the form of her visions of the future. What is important to note is her visions are not certainties, but possibilities and she rarely ever acts on them.
• While obviously trained in the style of a Dark Knight, her fighting is almost entirely based on the siphoning of strength from her opponents. She sucks the aether/life from her enemies to outlast them while also (temporarily) gaining their strength. The effects of such methods are yet to be determined. However, it is clear her own aether is suffering corruption from the absorption.
• Absolutely fucking dirt poor.
Her Former Tribe, the Ayagan,
Known as the Gardeners, or Nhaama's flowers, the Ayagan was a migrational tribe who studied the plant life of the Steppe, moving with the seasons and cultivating all of its greenery to grow in ways beneficial for those who made the Steppe their home. Mostly pacifists, they were skilled in all things to do with herbology, including medicines, herb lore, cooking, dyes and inks. In their travels they did well in trade with other tribes and even Domans who valued the vivid hues their dyes could produce.
Unique to the Ayagan, all of their members had their names, usually a flower, inked into their skin when they were small. The Ayagan believed that a beautiful name written in a dye brewed uniquely for them would both serve to protect the child into adulthood and tie them to the Steppe which sustained them.
